I saw Daniel Craig in the new Casino Royale twice. He rocked. The best Bond film in a long while; darker, more coherent and plot driven, and much more like the Bond I remember from reading (all the) books. Not as good as Connery, but very close, maybe even better than Timothy Dalton. Anyone else seen this, and what did you think?

I loved it: from the excellent opening chase scene right through to the end.  First time in years I got wrapped up in a Bond plot instead of just rolling my eyes.  Kudos to Daniel Craig, the writers and the director for stripping away all the bad puns and clichs that have mired the series for 30 years, at least.

This is probably one of the best Bond movies ever.  I was reluctant to see it at first because I had come to hate the franchise after they had ruined it with the last few with Brosnan.  And I wasn't that familiar with Daniel Craig.  But I took my father to see it anyway and was just blown away.  I loved it and can't wait for it to come out on DVD in March.

I like that it didn't take itself too seriously.  "Do you want that shaken or stirred?"  "Does is look like I give a damn?"  AND...little to no gadgets.  I like that it was about Bond and not the technology.

I liked Brosnan, but mostly because he looked drop-dead gorgeous in a dinner jacket.   Kiss

But I really liked this movie, and was pleasantly surprised at Daniel Craig.
