I know, I know, I haven't been around in awhile.  I was thinking about you guys last night and thought I should pop in.  Not sure what brought it to mind...

Anyway, lots of life changes this past year, but the dust is finally settling.  It'll be kick back up in a few months, but that'll be my own doing, so it's fine.

How has everyone been?

Lol!  Still in Happy Valley, for a little while longer anyway.

I've been sorting out my life.  Who knew it would be this complicated?  And why is there no instruction booklet?

Things are very well actually.  I just had to do some rearranging in life, but it's all good now.  Smiley

Thanks, Julie!  Good to see you, too.

Yeah, I broke up with my boyfriend of almost 8 years, quit my job, didn't have one for awhile, and moved around a couple of times between friends' apartments until I could get one (because in a student town, leases don't start until August).

Now I'm happily single, work for a nice little company, have an apartment, and will be starting grad school in the fall.  It took me about a year, but I've finally got things figured out (for awhile anyway...).

So Mags, I'm finally leaving good ol' Happy Valley and Penn State this fall.  I guess 8 years here is enough, though.  Time to move on.  Smiley

So where are you going to grad school and what will you be studying? If those are not too personal questions. Wink

I'm going to Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland.  I'll be getting an MBS in Marketing.  I'm pretty excited.

My grad school app as surprisingly easy and it's the program that I wanted, so I was pleasantly surprised.  I was going to apply to some other schools, but the apps for those closed after I had to tell DCU whether or not I was coming.  So, it's DCU for me.  I checked out the campus in January - nice little setup.  I'm excited.  I want it to be summer already so I can move over there already!

WOW! How very cool! Not so hard giving up Happy Valley for that, I dare say!

I just found out that my school has an American football team.  I might have to go to a game, just so I can compare to Penn State football.  Should be pretty funny!  Smiley
